Australia Raises Student Visa Fees from July 1
Australia has increased the Student Visa (Subclass 500) application fee to AUD $2,500, effective 1 July 2026. Eligible ELICOS and certain non-award course applicants will pay a concessional visa application fee of AUD $2,050 under the updated fee structure. The revised charges apply to applications lodged on or after 1 July 2026.
The updated visa fees are part of Australia's revised visa application charges and may influence the overall cost of studying in the country for prospective international students.
